SUCCESSIONS GROUP TRAINING/COACHING RECCOMENDATIONS

"Upon meeting Diane for the first time via her spin class, I knew that she took her role as instructor seriously and that I was in good hands. In fact, it is because of Diane’s spin class that I decided to join Vision Fitness.
At first, I stuck with what was comfortable for me. I took Diane’s spin and Radiant Strength classes consistently. But, no matter which class I took, I kept hearing other members buzz about Diane’s Inten-Sati class. When I read the description, I was a little fearful because it sounded like a high-speed yoga class with meditation based on a "new-age" philosophy. Still, I got up the nerve and took my first class in May of 2010 and I haven’t missed a class since!
This summer, Diane organized a semi-private training group which included a deeper level of understanding around the philosophy of mindfulness. In addition to Inten-Sati and strength training, Diane taught us about the power of mindfulness and the effects our thinking has on our overall well-being. The results have been astounding. Not only was I challenged physically, but I learned how to overcome the mental roadblocks which, up until now, have limited my progress. Diane’s knowledge base about fitness combined with her personal life experiences, make her a phenomenal fitness coach.
In addition to the work I did with Diane in the semi-private training group, Diane facilitated a Successions workshop for the administrators in my school district. The workshop was designed to help administrators understand the impact that positive thinking can have on an institution and how staying in a place of love can influence an organization from top to bottom. The workshop also included an exercise in trust, Inten-Sati, and meditation. It was a valuable experience that has had a lasting impact on the administration team.
Diane’s passion for fitness and teaching others about fitness exudes from her. What I learned about Diane after only a short time is that she has an “open door” policy where I felt comfortable to email or talk to her about areas where I was struggling both mentally and physically. She is honest and does not sugar coat anything--which is what makes her reputable. With Diane, what you see is what you get, but what you give is what makes all the difference in the results at the end. I have worked with many fitness instructors over the last 15 years, and many of them were excellent; however, I am honored to say that meeting Diane and working with her has revolutionized my thinking and behavior, has motivated me to try new and exciting things, and inspired me to push my limits. I have learned that “what you think about you bring about” and dreams can and do come true. I have Diane to thank for this and I would recommend everyone opening their minds to what she has to offer. "I feel privileged to write a letter of recommendation for Diane Finkelday. I met Diane when I joined Vision Sports Club in Pearl River, New York two years ago. Several months ago she brought a program to the gym called Inten-Sati, a program that combines positive affirmations with exercise. The program was not about simply losing weight, it was more about changing your life and living in a body you love. In addition, she offered additional private training, which included a personal consultation, ongoing support and self-empowerment literature and exercises.
Diane not only teaches the program but she lives it daily, which makes her inspiring as an instructor. Although I was exercising regularly, I was only achieving limited results and I never challenged myself. Since I started working with Diane, I have lost 9 pounds and 8 inches. I feel strong, confident and better able to manage my stress. I am proud to share that I have achieved greater fitness goals and success in my career. On a more personal level, I have received several compliments and have enjoyed new activities like parasailing.
I am spreading the word because I now believe anyone can change their mind, body and life with Om @ Home, Inten-Sati, Successions. "
